This terms of use agreement is formulated to standardize the access behaviors of all users, clarify the right boundary between Facelux operation team and end users, and regulate the usage rules of all local artificial intelligence-based portrait creation functions inside the application. Before downloading, accessing and using Facelux and its corresponding service functions, every user shall fully read, understand and accept all clauses recorded in this agreement.
All information generated, uploaded and invoked during users' usage is processed by local artificial intelligence modules and stored exclusively on users' local devices. Users can permanently delete relevant data at any time through built-in application functions or device file management tools. Accordingly, Facelux will never collect, access or obtain any form of user facial data and facial feature information in any usage scenario.
The moment users download, open and browse any functional module of Facelux, such behavior will be deemed as full acceptance and unconditional recognition of all clauses of this terms of use. This agreement forms a valid binding usage constraint between individual users and the Facelux operation team, covering all service contents including local artificial intelligence text-to-image generation, image-to-video animation production, virtual currency consumption and subscription authorized services.
Facelux is a lightweight local artificial intelligence-oriented realistic portrait creation application without mandatory account registration and login mechanisms. Users can directly utilize eight built-in realistic portrait style templates and customized text prompt functions to generate 1024×1024 high-definition realistic portrait pictures, and convert local portrait images into five-second short video works via multiple subtle motion templates. All creation tasks are completed independently by local artificial intelligence algorithms on user devices, the operation team does not participate in data processing, and never collects any facial information contained in user creation materials and finished works.
This terms of use and the Facelux privacy policy released synchronously are complementary and mutually restrictive. The usage rules of user information storage, local artificial intelligence processing logic and user right protection involved in this agreement shall be implemented in accordance with the corresponding clauses of the privacy policy. Consistent with the privacy policy, all user data including facial related content are stored locally, and Facelux maintains a zero-collection principle for all types of user facial data permanently.
Facelux cancels all account registration, real-name authentication and identity verification links, and users can obtain complete access permissions to core functions without submitting any personal private information. The application only applies for two basic device permissions including local album access permission and local storage permission, which are only used to support material uploading and finished content saving required for local artificial intelligence creation. The authorized device permissions are limited to local content calling within user devices, and cannot help Facelux acquire any user facial information.
All users shall promise to use Facelux services in a compliant and appropriate manner during the usage process. Users are prohibited from utilizing local artificial intelligence creation functions to produce content that violates public order and good customs; users are not allowed to crack, modify, decompile the local algorithm framework of Facelux, or use third-party auxiliary tools to interfere with the normal operation of application functions. Users shall bear all corresponding responsibilities for non-compliant usage behaviors.
All original portrait materials uploaded by users independently and all portrait pictures and short videos generated by users through Facelux local artificial intelligence functions belong to the corresponding users entirely. Users enjoy permanent ownership, modification right and deletion right of all self-generated content. Since all content is stored on users' local devices and Facelux does not collect any facial data and creation content, the operation team will not claim any right to user generated works in any form.
Facelux launches an in-app virtual currency system named coins to restrict the usage frequency of core local artificial intelligence creation functions. All consumption behaviors are completed inside the local application, and consumption records are only stored in the user's local device folder. The virtual currency deduction process only involves local data statistics, and has no connection with facial information collection, Facelux never obtains any user facial data during settlement.
Users can purchase additional virtual currency packages through the official in-app purchase channel provided by App Store according to personal usage demands. All payment transactions are independently undertaken and managed by the official payment platform of the application marketplace. Facelux only provides virtual currency corresponding functional services, and does not obtain any payment data and transaction information of users.The virtual currency purchasing and using process will not trigger any information collection behavior, and user facial information is always kept inside local devices.
Facelux provides three types of cyclic auto-renew subscription services for users to choose from:
Users who successfully activate valid subscription services can use all local artificial intelligence portrait image generation and video generation functions without consuming virtual coins during the subscription validity period. The subscription payment and auto-renew execution work are completed by the official in-app purchase system. The opening of subscription services only optimizes user function usage experience, and the service mode still adopts localized operation, without collecting any user facial data.
All intellectual property rights of Facelux, including but not limited to application software copyright, interface design copyright, localized artificial intelligence algorithm framework, built-in eight sets of exclusive portrait style templates and motion video templates, are owned by the Facelux operation team exclusively. Any unauthorized copying, dissemination, secondary development and commercial use of the above intellectual property contents are prohibited.
The application name Facelux, exclusive icons and all customized functional trademarks involved in the application belong to the operation team. No individual or organization may use the above brand elements for commercial purposes without the written permission of the Facelux operation team. Users are only granted limited personal non-commercial usage rights during the period of using application services.
The Facelux operation team reserves the right to carry out iterative optimization, function upgrade and partial module adjustment for local artificial intelligence algorithms, style templates and motion templates according to user usage feedback and product development plans. The adjustment of internal functions will not change the core localized service mode of the application. No matter how the product functions are upgraded and adjusted, Facelux will always adhere to the rule of not collecting any user facial data, and all creation tasks are still completed locally on user devices.
The operation team has the right to temporarily suspend the update and maintenance of partial functions or the whole application in special scenarios such as product version iteration and abnormal device system adaptation. The temporary suspension of services will not cause any loss to users' local stored creation content, and users' facial related data will not be affected in any way.
The Facelux operation team can revise and update the clauses of this terms of use according to functional updates and service optimization demands. The revised agreement content will be released in the latest version of Facelux application for users to view at any time. Users' continuous access to and use of the application's local artificial intelligence portrait creation functions after the agreement update shall be regarded as acceptance of the revised clauses. The amendment of the agreement will never alter the core localized processing mechanism and the zero-collection policy for user facial data.
